Design Objectives
The goal of this project was to reinterpret traditional tarot symbolism through a modern lens. Using minimalist composition and metaphorical detail, each illustration conveys archetypal meaning while inviting personal reflection.

Key Features
The Empress
A lion’s leg gently shields a flower, symbolizing protection and motherhood. Leaves reflect natural growth, while a scattered bloom and paintbrush hint at creativity, femininity, and emotional transformation.

Death
A chained crow represents stagnation and resistance to change. A rotting egg cracks open, revealing rebirth, while green leaves symbolize renewal. The moon adds emotional depth, and a key alongside a broken chain offers the potential for self-liberation.

The Lovers
Two parakeets appear on opposite sides, joined by a central heart — symbolizing connection and emotional union. Cupid-like arrows point toward the birds, suggesting the spark of love, while eggs beneath them represent family, fertility, and shared beginnings.

Temperance
Two flamingoes stand in calm symmetry, representing emotional balance and lifelong harmony. A heart between them flows into a single shared path, while the sun above and distant mountains reflect peace, patience, and inner growth.
